Oscar Sueing began learning and playing the saxophone at the age of 13. He began playing musical gigs while studying Music Education at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN, including performances with the renowned gospel group The Bobby Jones Gospel Show. Dr. Sueing has also played with Kirk Whalum and other notable jazz artists.
